We are so proud to have Al serving with us as a 1st Shift Lightbar Assembler! Al’s time as both a Firefighter-EMT in Jenison, Michigan and a Military Police Sergeant in Camp Grayling, Michigan has empowered him to make high-quality and trustworthy products that help others in his field. The best thing about SoundOff, according to Al, is that he can still take emergency calls and serve his community through the Georgetown Township Fire Department! When he isn’t busy saving lives, Al spends his time working as a High School Sports Official with the MHSAA!
Meet Kristen! Kristen is a mechanical technician and on-call firefighter for Grand Rapids Township. She says being a firefighter has taught her to give 100% each day – whether it’s a helping hand or a smiling face (which sure brightens our office!). Her competitive nature gives her an edge in the CrossFit gym and ensures she never backs down from a challenge at SoundOff. Kristen is determined to solve every problem she encounters, and you better believe she does it with a smile!
Kyle is a District Sales Manager in Colorado, where he also serves Elizabeth Fire Rescue as a firefighter, EMT, and engineer. He has been in the fire service for 21 years, allowing him to understand the EMS and fire personnel better regarding warning equipment. For Kyle, it’s the family atmosphere and priority on its employees that makes SoundOff Signal special. Fun fact: Kyle wanted to be a helicopter pilot before switching careers and is currently a competitive water-skier with his wife and kids! When they aren’t on the lake, you can find them camping or riding dirt bikes.
Brent brings extensive experience and understanding to our team, coming to us with a combined 25 years as a critical care paramedic for Life EMS and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department! He knows how to serve our customers because he spent so many years as a first responder himself. Brent loves the committed, family feel of working in the public safety industry and brings this approach to all of our long-term customer relationships. Fun fact about Brent: he delivered FIVE babies on the field, including a set of twins! Outside of work, you’ll find him cooking or woodworking.
Meet Adam! Adam is a retired Fire Marshal and Division Chief for the City of Marathon Fire Rescue, where he handled all of the warning equipment for their department vehicles. At SoundOff Signal, he trains similar departments to use our technical equipment, ensuring they can take care of their divisions as he did. For Adam, nothing beats team meetings at IHOP! When he’s not helping our customers in the field, you can find him off-roading with mpower lights on his Jeep!
With over 20 years combined as a police officer and volunteer firefighter, Chris credits his time in the field with his deep understanding of our products – their implementation, usage, and capacity to keep people safe. He loves coming to work each day for the incredible people on his team (we like you too, Chris!). Fun fact about Chris: after completing field training as a police officer, one of his first traffic stops involved him stopping the local police chief! When he’s not out catching his boss (looking at you, Bryan Nyeholt!), he likes to tinker around the house or escape everything by going camping.
Kolton began his firefighting career at age 14 as a cadet, graduating to a full member at age 18, and he still serves the Mattawan Fire Department today! He has seen the impact of technology on in the field and strives to help people understand how SoundOff can radically improve their safety. As an electronic technician, he has the opportunity to innovate and implement life-saving solutions. For him, the best part of SoundOff Signal is the people. “I have never worked at a place that feels so much like home,” he says. He enjoys all outdoor activities in his free time – camping, fishing, hunting, and dirt bikes!
We are so proud to have Gabe Casucci, Fire Commissioner for Bellevue Fire, on our team here at SoundOff Signal. He has served as a firefighter since 2003, gaining immense wisdom about what first responders experience daily. Additionally, he understands the complexities of outfitting and maintaining emergency vehicles and is passionate about ensuring teams worldwide are equipped with the best technology and products. Fun fact, though, Gabe hates heights! You won’t find him on the truck crew if he can help it!
Meet Albert! His experience as a police officer gives him incredible real-world experience applying light theory and implementing new technologies. Additionally, Albert has three life-saving awards from his time on the force; he understands that every moment counts in an emergency. With this deep sense of responsibility, Albert serves our customers with excellence, and his favorite part of SoundOff Signal is the team and culture. When not catching his favorite NASCAR race, you can find Albert immersed in photography or collecting American coins!
We are so proud to have Jonathan serving with us as a Senior Buyer at SoundOff Signal! Jonathan is a veteran and reserve police officer with experience as an operating room technician with the 10th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. We appreciate how his broad perspective supports our business. Interesting fact: Jonathan once sang God Bless America for a Detroit Pistons game! Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and gardening. For Jonathan, the best part of his job is the people he gets to work with daily.
Meet Luke! As a former firefighter of seven years, Luke understands what it means to don the boots and hat of duty. But he says, “the true strength of a firefighter isn’t courage, it’s determination.” He brings the same commitment to our customers, which he proudly considers friends. When he’s not working in sales for SoundOff Signal (often in his camo muck boots!), you can find him white water rafting, playing softball, or editing wildlife videos!
Meet Ken! Before SoundOff Signal, Ken served as a law enforcement officer for 28 years, where he enforced motor vehicle laws, investigated crashes, and promoted traffic safety. He was also one of the first police canine handlers for highway patrol and continued as a canine handler for seven years! His role in the field means he understands the real work needs, but his experience in operations means he also understands budgets and asset management. Little known fact about Ken… he has been a photographer for forty years, capturing everything from National Parks to wildlife to weddings, sporting events, concerts and more.
Meet Matt! Matt is a veteran and retired law enforcement officer of 22 years. His experience allows him to provide valuable input on the best safety solutions like our bluePRINT controls system. Impressive fact about Matt: he is a graduate of the FBI National Academy! By far, his favorite part of SoundOff Signal is the terrific team he works with to support first responders. He started a new outdoor activity this summer – kayaking! When he’s not giving that hobby a try, he enjoys bicycles, remote control hobbies, firearms, and hanging out with family.
Meet Michael! With over 20 years as an Intelligence Officer for the City of Phoenix, Michael brings a wealth of field knowledge AND all of the CSI vibes we love. He can deduce both a crime scene and the perfect lighting package to keep a fleet safe on the road. His favorite part about SoundOff Signal is how much everyone genuinely cares about the well-being of the end-user. Michael has been married for over 20 years and credits his wife for making him a better person! Outside of work, he loves to hunt, camp, and explore new places with his family.
Thank you all for your dedication to service and to our team here at SoundOff Signal!
